Is Batman a good role model ?

Batman is generous, brave, kind, loyal, forgiving, passionate, determined etc. He is super intelligent (bet you didn't know that he had an IQ of 192 ) and is also a great detective.

I think we can all agree that batman is a cool superhero.

But is he a good role model ?
(Someone said that fictional characters can't be role model, but they can. I mean, just look at Minerva Mcgonagall. but that's beside the point. so anyways..)

Honestly, no, Batman is not a good role model.

He is cold, brutal and beats up petty criminals because he is still traumatized by his past. Most of his actions are illegal. Though his intentions are good, the way he fights crime is not.

Batman shows that if your parents are shot and you want justice, dress up as a bat, hop on buildings and punch some psycho criminals.

Awesome superhero? yes. Awesome costume? yes. Awesome role model? no.
